Problem viewing these videos with Microsoft Windows Vista?
Some users of Microsoft Windows Vista have reported getting the following error message in Windows Media Player when they try to view these videos:
"An audio codec is needed to play this file. To determine if the codec is available to download from the Web, click Web Help." To resolve this issue, Microsoft recommends users download the Sipro Lab Telecom ACELP.net (130) codec from WMPlugins.com.
We have been able to successfully reproduce, and then resolve this problem by following Microsoft's recommendation. These are the steps we used:
- Follow the link to get Sipro Lab Telecom ACELP.net (130) codec from WMPlugins.com
- Click the "VoiceAge the world's premier supplier of codec" link underneath the Download Sites heading
- Click the "I accept" link after reading the notice
- Click the "Accept and download the version for Windows Vista 32 bit users" button after reading the End User License Agreement (EULA)
- Open and Run the downloaded ...Vista_Install_AcelpNet.exe file
- Close Windows Media Player and re-click the video file on this web page (above)
